Pascar offers unique visionary support to Harvest Hope Africa. Having grown up in Southern Africa, he brings experience and understanding of the undeniable challenges and hardships vulnerable people of Africa face and an appreciation of what it takes to help these people have a better future. This, coupled with project management experience and living and working in the West for the last 20 years means that Pascar brings insight and wisdom to support Harvest Hope Africa. Pascar has a heart to see lives of vulnerable people transformed.

Patrick is passionate about bringing hope, restoration and transformation to the lives of vulnerable people of Africa. He grew up in Democratic Republic of Congo, and since then, has lived in multiple countries in Africa. This involved training leaders and working with charities to bring reconciliation and hope. As a part of this, Patrick supported the recovery of communities post the Rwandan Genocide. Now based in Australia, with his wife Rebecca, they have established Harvest Hope Africa.

Rebecca lived in Tanzania for 9 years. She travelled to many countries in Africa and through her local connections and personal experience has developed a deep understanding of the needs of impoverished people in Africa. Now living in Australia with her husband and two children, they have founded Harvest Hope Africa to develop awareness of the realities of life in Africa. This supports establishing systems and providing opportunities for people in the developed world to be a part of equipping and transforming the lives of impoverished Africans.

Eugene is committed to empowering communities in Africa. Having grown up in Congo, he understands the long-standing challenges. Eugene uses this knowledge to bring insight and creative solutions to the work of Harvest Hope Africa. Eugene is a Family Physician, with a special interest in chronic disease and preventative health, currently practicing medicine in Canberra, Australia.

Patrick leads the management team of Harvest Hope Africa. He has nearly 30 years experience working with Not for Profits, providing relief and training for the underprivileged in several countries in Africa. Patrick is based in Australia and leads our project managers working on the ground in Africa. His formal training includes community development, education and he fluently speaks many African languages.

With a Master’s degree in human rights from the University of Cape Town (South Africa) and a law degree from the University of Goma, (Democratic of Congo), Gentil’s areas of expertise include human rights, transitional justice and conflict transformation. He is a consultant, writer and speaker working in the Great Lakes region, based in Burundi. Gentil brings expertise and experience in the area of human rights and justice to Harvest Hope Africa’s work, supervising our in-country managers, and providing advice on best practices in his field of expertise.
Heartbroken by seeing the consequences of violence, poverty and social injustice, Gentil is excited to partner with Harvest Hope Africa, contributing to our efforts of bringing hope and restoration to targeted individuals and communities in Africa.

Julius has spent the last 30 years fighting for the underprivileged, equipping them with tools to create a better future. He is a leader, focusing on community development. Julius identifies needs, dreams big and makes significant impact in communities by upskilling and empowering the local people groups. Julius’ work includes child education, sustainable developments and leadership training in Tanzania.

Project Manager – Democratic Republic of Congo
As a professional, working in Democratic Republic of Congo, Daniel has seen his country go through strife and people suffer. He has a desire to see peace return, and violence against innocent victims, particularly women and children cease. He is a key facilitator within child protection and empowering abused women in DR Congo, project managing this work for Harvest Hope Africa.
